Mount Pleasant is seeking a qualified volunteer to lead our Emergency Management Team across:
1. Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries (MPCM)
2. Mount Pleasant Christian School (MPCS)
3. Mount Pleasant Development Corporation (MPDC)
This is a strategic leadership opportunity to help protect our worship services, school operations, special events, and community programs.

Position Overview
The Emergency Management Team Leader will oversee the development, coordination, and training for:
4. Emergency Management Medical Plan
5. Emergency Evacuation Plan
6. Active Shooter / Violent Intruder Plan
7. Crisis communication procedures
8. Annual emergency drills and leadership tabletop exercises
This leader will ensure our campus is prepared, organized, and confident in responding to emergencies.

Ideal Background
We are seeking individuals with experience in:
Emergency Management
Healthcare/Nursing
Fire Department/EMS
Military
Homeland Security
Crisis Leadership
Law Enforcement
School Safety

Time Commitment
Approximately 4–6 hours per month
Quarterly planning of meetings
Oversight of annual drills
