OUR VISION
V-Membership is needed to give those who view Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries (MPCM) worship services online an opportunity to connect officially to our ministry. We recognize that more families are watching online broadcasts, and some have indicated they plan to remain virtual even as we continue our recovery. The number of people who view our worship services has increased. Moreover, people are worshipping virtually throughout the country and beyond. This has given us an opportunity to fulfill our church’s mission to “reach the world for Jesus Christ.” Our goal will be to reach people who are unable to physically attend worship because they live out of town or are not mobile.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Mount Pleasant Global Connect Ministry is to provide an avenue for Spiritual growth while fostering a sense of connection and belonging through fellowship through the local and virtual assembly.

Ministry Membership – Admin Assistant – The Gift of Administration and Helps
- Communicate with new and veteran members either by phone or electronically.
- Keep accurate and up to date records of new membership participation in orientation and membership activities.
- Schedule classes and appointments for virtual members.
- Communicate regularly with ministry leader and MPCM office staff.
- Attend one hour a month meetings to review new member progress, identify opportunities that need to be resolved, and to retrieve relevant information regarding new members the MPGC.
- Communicate with new and veteran members either by phone or electronically.
- Keep accurate and up to date records of new membership participation in orientation and membership activities.
- Facilitate/teach virtual orientation and New Members classes.
- Skilled in operating various virtual platforms, I.e. Zoom, GoogleMeet, and/ or Microsoft TEAMS.
- Attend one hour a month meetings to review new member progress, identify opportunities that need to be resolved, and to retrieve relevant information regarding new members the MPGC.
- Assist with mentoring new members on their path to discipleship.
