Why We Need Salvation

One thing stands in the way of us having a relationship with God–> SIN

SIN is something we all have in common because we were all born with it. Because of the disobedience of Adam, the first man, we are all born separated from God.

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”Romans 3:23

“There is none righteous, not even one.” Romans 3:10

The Bible further EXPLAINS: “The wages of sin is death.”Romans 6:23

The punishment for our sin is eternal separation from Godin Hell. The punishment for sin may seem harsh but God is a God of justice and therefore He must punish sin. “For the Lord is a God of justice.” Isaiah 30:18

But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Good Deeds Are Not Enough!

Those who have not asked Jesus to save them from the penalty of sin cannot have a relationship with God. Noone who is good enough or kind enough to be righteous in God’s eyes. Many people try to earn a place in Heaven by performing good deeds such as attending church, giving money to the poor, being a good person, or by getting baptized or christened. The truth is many good and generous people will live in Hell, being eternally separated from God because the penalty for their sin must be paid.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO EARN ENTRANCE INTO

HEAVEN OR TO EARN SALVATION

In Matthew 7:22-23, Jesus said “Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

God, Creator Of The World, Loves You!!

John 3:16 -17

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Himmight be saved. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

God created you and desires to have an intimate relationshipwith you as your loving Father. The relationship will be aneternal one that lasts throughout your life here on earthand even continues after death when you will meet Him face to face in Heaven.

The Bible states: “You must be born again!” John 3:7

If You Died Today And God Asked You, “Why Should I Let You Into MY Heaven?”, What Would You Tell Him?
