The Discipleship arm here at Mount Pleasant is now known as the Mount Pleasant Discipleship Academy (MPDA).
Our primary goal is to provide an environment where Christians can continue to develop their relationship with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ through the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding; and to deliver this environment in a God honoring and God pleasing Christian Education center.

• Mission: It is our mission to provide a loving, nurturing environment that promotes spiritual growth so that a lifelong, obedient relationship with Jesus is developed.
• Vision: Through the various MPDA ministries we aim to help believers become intimately aware of what Gods purpose for their lives are and how that purpose fits into His plan and mission. And in doing so families will be strengthened, evangelism efforts will be increased, and discipleship will be multiplied.
• Objective: To develop a Christ centered life, and to discover where we as believers fit individually in the Body of Christ by a persistent and consistent pursuit of biblical principles. All the while increasing in our knowledge and understanding through the direction God provides us through His living word.
