Bishop’s Corner

Bishop Clifford M. Johnson, Jr.

pastorI would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to our website. God has given us this powerful tool to assist us in fulfilling His Great Commission in taking the Good News to the world. If you are not saved, why not receive the best gift you will ever be offered, the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. Jeremiah 31:3 says that God loves you with an everlasting love. He demonstrated His love toward you when He sent His only unique Son into this world to restore mankind to relationship and fellowship with Him. No joy in this world can compare to a child of God, living in kingdom principles, reaping kingdom benefits, and fulfilling his God ordained destiny. Be blessed and continue to seek His face.

First Lady Dorothy Johnson

firstladyWelcome to the Mt. Pleasant Church and Ministries website. We are so thankful that you chose to visit our site. I pray that the Holy Spirit will manifest Himself as you explore this site. As you hit the different web pages, I pray that God will draw you to Mt. Pleasant ministries. The True and Living God is present here. God lets us know that the race is not given to the swift nor to the strong but to those who endure to the end. He also lets us know that it’s not by might nor by power but by His Spirit, thus saith the Lord.
Be Blessed This Day.

for the Suffering
Soul

Does suffering have a purpose? What perspective should God’s children have about the trials and tribulations they experience?
In this encouraging exploration of 1 Peter 5, Pastor Clifford M. Johnson, Jr. explored Biblical answers to these and many other questions. After You Have Suffered Awhile will help you develop a Scriptural understanding of adversity so you can find victory during times of trouble.
