SURVIVAL KIT

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY

If you want to know what it means to be a Christian, what it means to be part of the Body of Christ, how to pray, how God can use you in this world and how to draw closer to God, you’ve come to the right place.  If you’re ready to understand your new nature in Christ and what happens with the old nature; how to be real in your walk as a Christian and how to understand the Bible, come on in, take a seat, and let’s go on a journey together as we learn to draw closer to God.

 Our Mission

To provide a loving, nurturing environment to promote spiritual growth, in a non-judgmental atmosphere; and equip you with tools that you can use to help you to thrive and grow in Christ, as you continue in your journey toward spiritual maturity and a deeper relationship with the LORD.

 Our Vision

We aim to help believers become intimately aware of God’s purposes for their lives and how that purpose fits into His plan and mission.  We desire that all will learn how to pray more effectively, listen for God’s instructions, trust in God’s promises, and develop an intimate relationship with God.

 Our Objective

To help you develop a Christ centered life, through various disciplines and a hunger to consistently pursue biblical principles by developing regular patterns of quiet time, prayer, personal Bible study, and scripture memorization.  To help willing participants learn to discern truth from error, become willing participants in sharing Christ with others and become effective vessels of use in God’s kingdom purposes.

 Our Commitment

The Survival Kit Discipleship program is an 8-week course designed to help new and growing Christians by providing the tools that will help you in your lifelong journey towards spiritual growth.  We commit to respect your time, your comments, and provide support as you grow to trust God along this journey. As a baby desires milk, but begins to grow and develop a hunger for more substance, we pray that you will desire not only spiritual milk, but you will whet your appetite and grow to hunger the meat of God’s Word..
We hold three sessions per year (Fall, Winter and Spring) and provide registration in August, January, and March.  We offer virtual classes on Tuesday nights from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and In-person classes on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 12 noon.
